Julie Abrahamsen og Iver Bertheussen Røst played both for NSA in Gothia Cup this summer.
NSA provides American Kids an opportunity to learn more about soccer. Beside the tournaments in USA, they have been travelling to Europe for 24 years. Here is the goal to take part in Cup No 1 in Frederikshavn, Gothia Cup in Gothenburg and Dana Cup in Hjørring.
Beside travel from USA with American soccer players, they invite players from Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Norway to join them on these tournaments.
This year the two players from Grand Bodø, Julie and Iver got an offer to play for NSA in Gothia Cup.
– In this years Gothia Cup our two players were asked if they wanted to join. They said yes to that, and they got to play on each team. And therefore they got an special experience this summer, says the leader of the youth group in Grand Bodø, Marit Bertheussen Røst.
NSA are coming with teams in different age groups to the tournaments in Europe.
And the invited players join this teams.
